Hawaii/Utah

I have lived in Utah too long.  Some 47 years almost.  I had forgotten some things about living here in Hawaii.  Bread doesn't go so hard after just a few minutes out in the exposed air.  And things that I liked, Li Hing Mui seeds and all that good stuff, doesn't go rock hard here.  Cookies stay chewy and not crisp hard.
But on the other hand, we have to put the opened cereal box in the fridge, and other such items, as cookies, crackers.  Even things like sugar, salt, etc., stick together, so we have to put some rice grains in the salt shaker.  We have to make sure not to leave unwashed dishes in the sink.  It attracts the little critters that I didn't have to worry about in Utah.  Things get moldy here from the humidity.
And showering....... everyday, no missing that.  Summer months will mean increased showers, and one cannot wear an item of clothing more than once....BO
Focusing on the positives, it is wonderful to be studying the gospel for 3-4 hours a day.  Other than that, we only have to attend early morning Seminary every day, and teach Institute here in Laie, and in Honolulu.  This is the best.  We feel the Holy Ghost in our lives every waking hour.  We are blessed.
