A funny.....

....this happened a few days ago, but I still find it amusing, so I want to share it here.  One day we went across the street to watch the waves and just relax for a few minutes.  While sitting on a log there, I saw some empty beer cans.  I was dismayed at the litter on this beautiful beach.  So when we got up to leave, I picked up the cans to toss in the trash can, when a guy in a car opened his door to hand us two more coke cans.  I am so naive.  I thought he was handing us his cans on my way to the trash can, and I was doing a good deed.  Jay said, "he thinks we are collecting cans, that we are homeless."  I was mortified.  But I took the two cans, and brought them home along with the beer cans to add to the recycling bin.
