Just some random thoughts to share today. We just visited the Laie 2nd ward, where one of our Seminary teachers was taken into the Bishopric. So we had to go show support. We love visiting all these wards and check out the families of our students.
It's much cooler this time of year, but nothing like Utah, or even Massachusetts. We're glad we don't have to worry about boots or coats this time of year. We just continue to wear sandals and I might even wear a panty hose here and there, but it's too warm for that. Jay wears his light suits still. It's not "cold".
Several of our Seminary boys are on the winning Kahuku football team who will be playing off next Friday for the State Championship against Kamehameha, where we have students who come to our Home Study. One boy plays on the team at Kamehameha, and several girls in the class attend there, and it's my alma mater. My loyalties will be divided.
Last weeks speakers from Utah who came to speak to us for our Regional Conference were so pale, I wondered if we were just used to looking at brown that those haoles looked especially pale.
We didn't have Institute to teach this past week, but we continue to study and to grow and increase our testimonies. It's wonderful when you feel the Holy Spirit daily, isn't it. I love it!

Funny that the haoles look so pale. I wonder if you'll go into shock when you return to Am. Fork.
Let's plan on sharing some custard pie next time we're together! Whenever that might be . . .
